Nida In The Midst

October 27, 2008

We drove to Nida plateau (1400m) at 20kph in thick midst expecting a very wet walk. But there was daylight on the far side.

It was raining in Northern Crete but we broke through to the sunny South, where we found a beautiful forest but not the Kameres Cave which we were looking for.

And a goat’s skull.

Of note Poppy was awful. She has chased her last goat, and can expect to spend more weekends at home.
