I’m pleased to confirm that after much pouting and grumblyness from Danae , who accused me of cheating, she is indeed the winner.  And the T logo was Transavia – credit where credit’s due!

βάτραχος – vatrachos = frog

A common sound in our household, it comes from inside a handbag or under a jumper and is  followed by half-an-hour of chit-chat and gossiping.

I get my revenge with my mobile. The prissy woman who says each morning “It’s 8 o’clock, time to get up”. Every 10 minutes.

My latest Nokia has lasted 2 years now. Unlike my previous one which lasted 3 days, before we both went for a swim.

Teleworking….

Good morning and Happy Birthday Mum – I’ll give you a ring later on.

We’ve been in Hania this weekend, supporting Katerina as she carried out her Godmotherly duties at a christening. Needless to say there was a feast and dancing afterwards, and needless to say I’d stuffed myself by the end of the starters. Not many people could manage the 2 steak courses, salad course and pudding ensemble that followed. Or so I was told because I was sleeping off the raki course in the car.

And now I’ve decamped to an internet cafe for the morning to work on a new website. Making good progress, despite the rock music and chain-smoking teenagers.

And The Mural In Full…

I think it’s about the dangers experienced by immigrants coming to Crete by boat. But I’ll have to ask the expert.
